Prior to the construction of the cross-border clearing business platform, each clearing application formed its own system, with significant differences in terms of business variety, coverage area, clearing method, message processing, clearing path, operating platform, data format, etc.

Project Objectives
To improve the service level of bank clearing business and reduce the coupling degree between products and accounting clearing, the operation management department proposed the clearing business general platform project at the end of 2008. by concentrating and dispersing the clearing-related functions in various product application systems, the loose coupling of product functions and clearing services is realized, and a unified, centralized and integrated clearing support platform for the whole bank is established. Explore the establishment of a global unified foreign currency clearing business operation model, focusing on Asia, Europe and the Americas to establish regional currency clearing centers, forming a cross-time, multi-currency, 7*24-hour global clearing network.
