Electronic Bidding System Project for a Bank Project Background
The bank's online electronic bidding system platform primarily serves bidding management entities and tenderers. It supports diverse projects, including construction, mechanical & electrical equipment, government procurement, medical projects, electric power, water conservancy, and other specialized fields. Tailored to specialty-specific requirements, the platform assigns tasks to relevant personnel, offering functionalities such as end-to-end bidding process management, critical step approvals, bidding document management, business analytics, and report generation to meet bidding management needs.
Project Construction
Construction period: November 2016 to December 2021 (deployed through multiple iterations). Project team members: The team comprised 12 members, including 8 developers, 1 technical manager, and 3 testers.
System Function
The administrator manages user accounts, authorization settings, guarantee templates, payment method configuration, report querying, tenderer information maintenance, bidding data upkeep, bid opening status query, verification of winning bidder deposits, refund of unsuccessful bidder deposits, report generation, verification of bidder-related content, deposit/guarantee payment & cancellation, bidding document printing, historical bidding information query, and ongoing platform optimization.

The system enables flexible bidding by tenderers, featuring online submission convenience, swift deposit refunds, and a fee-based guarantee mechanism (requiring only a handling fee instead of full security deposits). This reduces financial barriers, accelerates participation, and provides robust support for efficient bidding processes.
